1st International Symposium on Horizontal Mitochondrial Transfer and Dynamics

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is my pleasure to invite you to attend the First International Conference on Horizontal Mitochondrial Transfer and Dynamics (HMTD) that will take place at the BIOCEV Research Centre in Prague, October 24-25, 2024. Horizontal mitochondrial transfer has recently emerged as a discipline in cell biology with a major role in homeostasis and pathology, and the field has been growing rapidly over the last few years. With my colleagues, we decided to this progress by organizing a meeting dedicated to this highly intriguing phenomenon. We hope that this first meeting of its kind will trigger interest in the field and will also be a launching pad for organizing subsequent conferences on HMTD. Please join us in Prague, a beautiful city in the heart of Europe, and share with your peers your latest exciting discoveries.
